Home made bread is always being made, free range hens deliver the eggs and plenty of herbs grow among our vegetables. Home cooked dinners (on request) are eaten in and around the main house with outdoor fires for those romantic evenings. A stand of the beautiful New Zealand Kahikatea and also other native trees all around keep us in touch with what is New Zealand . Bruce and Shona have travelled most of New Zealand and Bruce has travelled to some of the Islands and Australia. Shona lived in the UK for three years and has seen many parts of Europe. We both know the importance of having great accommodation and being great hosts so we are here for you with a wealth of knowledge regards to New Zealand. Shona is a Natural Health Practitioner and has her clinic here at Karamu Valley Lodge. For those who wish to use this service during their stay there are a number of therapies available.Noddy's Room: Noddy's Room is simple, clean, all bedding and towels are included with tea and coffee facilities in the room.
